Dishues

Do any of these sound familiar?
  • Someone has left a huge mess in the sink but everyone claims it wasn't them.
  • The sink is so full of dishes you can't pour water into a cup.
  • The counters are covered in every dish the house owns.
  • The kitchen looks more like the trash can than a room.
  • You wonder whether you should put a Danger: Bio-hazard sign on the door to the house.
  • No matter how often you remind people it doesn't change

Sounds like you have a dish issue or what we like to call a "Dishue."
Dishes can become the bane of any community even if you have a dish washer. At first people leaving a few dishes in the sink seems fine, as long as they clean them later... Right?
Mid-term rolls around and suddenly you're unsure if there are kitchen counters anymore and do clean plates even exist!?

Don't despair! It may feel like you want to smash every dish in the house but there may be a solution to your problem! Past RA's have submitted their dishue techniques for the good of mankind. Okay, maybe just the cleanliness of the kitchen and the sanity of every clean freak member of the house... Click the link below.

If you have a dishue technique we would love if you would share it with us!
